Elias Lazaridis is a dancer and choreographer based in Antwerp, Belgium. He has collaborated with the most prominent contemporary dancers in the United Kingdom, Hofesh Shechter and Akram Khan, and, since 2010, has been working as dancer and assistant choreographer for Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and his dance company, Eastman, as well as for other institutions such as: GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, Opera Ballet Flanders, Stuttgart Ballet. As a choreographer, he made his debut at the Tanzcompagnie of Volkstheater Rostock, Germany, where he was commissioned to create a new interpretation for Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, as it was recomposed by Max Richter, for which he won the audience award for best production of the year in 2017.
