In Dreams of Time, Dafin Antoniadou explores the pictorial and sonic becomings of the universe, together with the becoming-cosmic and becoming-other of the performers.

The work unfolds as an event of sensation that pays homage to imperceptible cosmic forces while molding into a spectacle of pain.

Dreams of Time explores the extremes of the human condition through the prism of the temperament, sensitivity and excessive power that dominates female nature. Somewhere between sexuality and horror, a series of sensory experiences is created.

The show is intended for audiences aged 16 or older

BIOGRAPHY

Dafin Antoniadou is a freelance choreographer, performer and dancer living in Athens, Greece. She uses the human body, light and sound as her main tools to explore the limits of the human condition. Her work has been described as “cinematic,” “mesmerizing” and “powerfully symbolic.” Her previous works include Matter (2017), Fos (2018), and Echoes of an Inner Universe (2020). Between 2020 and 2022, she created the triptych “Vanishing Point” with choreographer Alexandros Vardaxoglou and artist Constantine Skourlis. The triptych expands into a choreography (Vanishing Point), a multimedia installation (DEEP HORIZON) and a film (VANISHING POINT) and is currently on international tour. All three works are a production of ONASSIS STEGI. Antoniadou was awarded the ARTWORKS Fellowship of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (2021) and is an Aerowaves artist (2022).
