
Stella Spyrou
Stella Spyrou holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Contemporary Dance Practice, while she has also studied in the Departments of Biomaterials & Biomechanics and Performing Arts at Unicamp in Brazil. Her work óMNIRA won a Special Mention of the Jury Award for the choreography contest (Masdanza Festival, 2016). In 2017, she was selected by the Red a Cielo Abierto network to tour festivals in Spain and Italy. In 2018, she presented her work Cloud in Pants at the Bob Theater Festival. In 2019, she participated in the Athens and Epidaurus Festival with an African dance workshop for a mixed group, while in 2021–2022 she organized dance composition seminars for mixed groups in the context of ARC for Dance Festival with the support of Liminal Access. In 2024, she presented her work-in-progress Diásporas (U(R)TOPIAS Academy of Choreography, Eleusis European Capital of Culture). Since 2016, she has been leading dance workshops for mixed groups (Athens and Epidaurus Festival, ARC for Dance Festival).
